這是一首由Daniel Alomía Robles改編自祕魯安地斯民謠的曲子，
之後再由Paul Simon填詞成為英文版 ;
原曲名"El cóndor pasa"為" 禿鷹飛過 "之意，
抒寫秘魯遊子的歸鄉情懷。
 
此曲已被祕魯宣告為它們國家文化遺產的一部分，
並在世界各國傳唱上千個版本，
